Brad Congdon
Senior Trial Attorney
Brad Congdon is a former felony prosecutor in Collin County and is now a Trial Attorney with The Edgett Law Firm. His practice includes criminal law, family law, and select civil litigation.
Brad is a North Texas Native. He grew up right down the road in The Colony and graduated from The Colony High School in 2005. He attended Texas A&M University where he was a proud member of the Corps of Cadets. He graduated from A&M in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science.
After undergrad Brad enlisted in the United States Army where he served our country as an Infantryman for six and a half years. He served overseas in Afghanistan with the US Army’s 10th Mountain Division where he was promoted to Sergeant. He also served for two and a half years in Germany where he was promoted to Staff Sergeant.
Brad left the Army in 2016 to attend law school at the University of Oklahoma College of Law. Upon graduation he began practicing civil litigation in Oklahoma and in Texas. He gained invaluable trial experience as a felony prosecutor at the Collin County District Attorney’s Office.
He is married to his wife Nicole and has two little girls named Mary and Charlotte. He is proud to serve his community as a criminal defense trial attorney and truly loves the work.
